Moonlit
From the ground
rose packets of mist
and the moon
hung low over treetops.
As rolling clouds drift past,
stars emerge from hiding
and crickets begin their chorus.
Trying to see movement
in darkness
by a slice of white moon
through the window,
she sees silhouettes
jumping and dancing
as they made love
in the bright wild wonderland
of a moonlit courtyard.
