Retired, Nancy K Brown lives in the redwoods of California's Central Coast, earned a B.A. in English and a Master's in Education, but the real learning happened in children's classrooms. She's worked with preschool children, taught elementary school and college students, training teachers. Nancy is raising two middle school aged grandchildren who inspire her writing and story-telling. A ten-year member of a writing critique group, Pitch to Publish, SCBWI, Nancy takes writing courses and attends conferences online.
